A Safety Management System (SMS), also expandable to a Loss Prevention System, is concerned with both costs associated with accidents/incidents which occur as a result of preventable events in the workplace and the number/frequency of these events.

  Our Safety management services aim to address some of the following areas within the overall management solution.
  
   
Health Management  
  • Is there a SHE policy that is signed by the CEO of the concern and has it been reviewed on an annual basis?
  • Is a copy of the SHE policy prominently displayed at the entrance normally used by employees and is there a copy in a SHE management file?
  • Do all employees of the concern have knowledge of the SHE policy and of their obligations in terms of the OHSA (induction training)?
  • Have occupational hygiene surveys been conducted by an AIA and are copies on file available for inspection file?
  • Have worst-case scenarios for each survey been assessed?
  • Has PPE been prescribed in relation to the recommendations in the OHS?
